Lesser Seen Hong Kong

While nothing more than a fishing village when the British took control of the island in 1841, it has has transformed into one of the most densely populated urban areas in the world.

Unlike some Asian cities that seek to preserve and retain their city's heritage and history, I don't feel Hong Kong has done very well in this area where older uniquely HK buildings are being torn down to make way for a sleek and shiny building.  Constantly changing, the skyline is a patchwork of old and new.
